A big accident happend ar place in Ahmedabad in Gujarat in the early hours of Thursday. Shrey Hospital located in the city caught fire. Shrey Hospital has been dedicated for Corona. The fire started in the ICU. Seeing the fire, the fire took a dangerous stand and in its grip 8 corona patients died, while a para medical staff was injured.

The fire broke out at Shrey Hospital at 3.15 am. The fire department team reached the spot at 3.22 pm. The fire brigade managed to control the fire at 4.20 pm. When the fire broke out, there were 10 corona patients in the ICU, while there were 49 corona patients in the entire hospital. Out of this, eight people have died.

Among those who died were Arvind Bhavsar, Navinlal Shah, Lilavati Shah, Ayeshaben Tirmish, Manubhai Rami, Jyoti Sindhi, Narendra Shah and Arif Mansoor. The credit of these eight people who lost their lives was being treated in the hospital. At present, the remaining patients have been shifted to another hospital. Also, the team of forensic department has reached for investigation.

Along with this, the team of local administration and police department has also reached Shrey Hospital. The reason behind the fire is being told as the short circuit. Some people say that a short circuit occurred in the ICU and caught fire. However, the team of the forensic department will investigate how the fire broke out.

According to the Gujarat Chief Minister’s Office, CM Vijay Rupani has ordered an inquiry into the fire incident at the Shrey Hospital in Ahmedabad. Sangeeta Singh, Additional Chief Secretary (Home Department) will lead the investigation. The CM has ordered a report within 3 days.

For now, the Shrey Hospital has been sealed and a trustee has been detained. The name of the trustee is Bharat Mahant.
