Overview about FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S (FNaF)
FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S is a survival horror game, published by Scott Cawthon and Steel Wool Studios Illumix. The game was initially launched on Desura on August 8, 2014, and then on Steam. The game has become a phenomenon when famous YouTubers play.
In the game, the player will be a night shift guard. The player’s task is to survive dangerous cartoon characters for 5 nights at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza restaurant.
The setting of the game is Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza pizza restaurant. In this place, there are large robots that perform at children’s parties. In the morning they are very cute but when night falls, they act unpredictably. They will catch you anytime you are careless.
Players will transform into night shift workers at a restaurant with the task of observing the behavior of robots through the camera. To be able to play the sequel, players must protect themselves from those scary robots with various tools. There will be 2 security doors that link the character’s office with the hallway to separate the robots in the restaurant from them. Players can control this door to protect themselves to survive the nights. Right below the door switch will be the switch of the room light, which will help to illuminate the hidden corners in the office. The player must observe the camera to observe the position of the robot. If you see them in the wrong place or have unusual behavior, run away from them.
However, pay attention to the power source. Each night the player only has a certain amount of power which will decrease depending on the use of tools. If used up, there will be no knockdown stick that can protect you.

3. Tips to overcome Five nights at Freddy’s
- Listening to the phone: The Phone Guy’s messages fifth days will be shorter. On the fourth night, The Phone Guy recorded his final message. Check his phone for hints.
- Using electricity effectively: Conserve your energy because there is a finite amount of power each night. When you run out of electricity, you don’t want to get caught by Freddy, right?
- The third night: From the third night on, be extremely careful. On the third night, the animatronics will be busier.
- Following the behavior of the animatronics: There are five animatronic characters: Chica the Fox, Foxy the Pirate Fox, Golden Freddy, and Bonnie the Bunny.
- Being ready for the fifth night: That evening, the phone guy won’t have a message for you, leaving you alone. Due to the fact that this is the final night for them to catch you, the animatronic figures are as busy as ever.
- Try your best: If this is your first time, be ready. At Freddy’s residence for five nights, things are a bit strange and terrifying. Not just for the fifth night, be prepared for things like jumping automobiles, animatronics, and much more.
4. FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S 2
After the release of FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S, there were rumors about the next game of game. Then, developer Cawthon began confirming those rumors with trailers on his website. The game is chronologically arranged before the events of the first game, making it a prequel to the series. Finally, the game was available on Steam on November 11, 2014.
Similar to the previous game, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 revolves around the fictional Pizza shop Freddy Fazbear’s. Also, the player acts as security guard and must protect themselves from the restaurant’s Animatronic beasts. The game added new details, such as a flashlight, a wearable Freddy Fazbear dummy head (to fool certain Animatronics), and an 8-bit minigame.
Similarly, the player must survive a night at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza from 12:00 to 6:00, without the attack of any Animatronics from room to room. In addition to the rotten old Animatronics (Old Animatronic), the game has added newer versions of Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, which are Toy Animatronics (Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, and Mangle), Marionette (commonly known as “Puppet”) and a humanoid robot named “Balloon Boy”.
Players will not be able to leave the monitoring room but can monitor the movements of the Animatronics through a network of security cameras located throughout the building. Each vent has a light that helps players to detect any Animatronics preparing to creep inside the workplace. To avoid approaching the Animatronics, the player can use a Freddy Fazbear mask to wear. However, this way won’t work on some characters (notably Old Foxy), so players must find another way to avoid them. The player will have a flashlight, which helps players inspect hallways and dark areas of the camera feed, as well as reset Foxy via strobing.
In this game, the power supply for the camera and ventilation lights is unlimited, but the flashlight has limited battery life. If it runs out, the player will be vulnerable to attack. Additionally, an Animatronic Marionette will appear when the music stops. Players can use the camera interface to control a music box that in the room to avoid an Animatronic Marionette.
Unlike the first game, when the player dies, instead of the Game Over screen, one of the four 8-bit minigames will show, with instructions given at the start of each. These minigames contain insight into the game’s plot.
Completing an entire year adds a star to the title screen and unlocks an even more challenging Friday night, which in turn adds a second star and unlocks a “Custom Night” upon completion of the night. During Custom Night, players can adjust the AI difficulty of individual Animatronics (0 to 20) or play one of ten preset challenges. Completing the Custom Night with each machine beast set to 20 results in adding the final star to the title screen.
5. Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator
Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator was released on December 4, 2017, on Steam and Game Jolt. It is the sixth main installment of the Five Nights at Freddy’s video game series and is the seventh game overall.
The player character is the new franchisee of Fazbear Entertainment Inc, headquartered in Washington County, Utah. After investing in the restaurant, players are left with $100 to spend on their new location. After the first night, they are encouraged to prepare for the “final test,” which is a big party on Saturday. Players invest in various props, animations, and sponsors to add to restaurant funding. At the end of the day, the player is faced with a maintenance check with four animated characters that have been possessed and wreaked havoc: Scrap Baby and Circus Baby rebuilt from debris after being ejected. Ennard; Molten Freddy, the rest of Ennard with Funtime Freddy as the oligarch; Lefty, a mysterious cartoon black bear; and Springtrap (now called “Scraptrap”), a dilapidated Spring Bonnie outfit containing the corpse of a serial killer and Fazbear co-founder William Afton, who survived Fazbear’s Fright’s destruction. The player can complete maintenance with the guidance of an unnamed “Cassette Man” before saving its soul or throwing it outside unless it has been hidden in a low-value item already bought before. Additionally, Evil cartoon characters attempt to kill the players every night, leaving them to strive for survival.
When the colors, sights, and noises of Five Nights in Freddy’s create a tense and horrifying environment, it heightens people’s feelings of fear and suspense. Although there is a simple way to play, many adolescent gamers may not enjoy it because it is in the scary genre.
